Fear of Corona’s rise, stock market fluctuates, Sensex breaks 576 points 

In the morning, the Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex opened with a slight gain of 20 points at 49,878.77. Around 1 pm, the Sensex broke 576 points and reached 49,282. At the end of trading, the Sensex lost nearly 87 points to close at 49,771.29.

Fearing the new wave of Corona, the round of selling in foreign markets last week, the effect of this also showed in the Indian stock market on Monday. In the morning, the Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex opened with a slight gain of 20 points at 49,878.77, but it started declining in a short time. Around 1 pm, the Sensex broke 576 points and reached 49,282. At the end of trading, the Sensex lost nearly 87 points to close at 49,771.29.

On the other hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange was down 8 points in the morning to open at 14,736.30, but in a short time it fell by about 100 points to reach 14,644.9. The Nifty lost 7.60 points to close at 14,736.40.

Adani Green shares rose 5 percent 

Shares of Adani Green Energy climbed 5 per cent on Monday to reach a 52-week high of Rs 1,251.05. Its subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Holding Fifteen Limited (AREHFL) has received an order for a 300 MW wind project. Due to this, shares of the company were seen rising.

The Nifty IT, metal, pharma and FMCG indices gained 1 per cent, while the Nifty Bank and PSU Bank indices declined 1-1 per cent.
