The Finance Ministry has set a limit of Rs 7,000 for the calculation of Non-Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB). With this limit of bonus calculation, the employee will be eligible to get a maximum bonus of Rs 6,908. The Department of Expenditure under the Ministry of Finance has given information about this.
Let us tell you that among the 30 lakh employees, 16.97 lakh non-gazetted (non-gazetted) employees of Indian Railways, Posts, Defense, EPFO and other business establishments including ESIC. The government is giving bonuses to them as well.
By giving bonus to such employees, the government will incur a financial burden of Rs 2,791 crore. At the same time, 13.70 lakh employees of the central government will be given bonuses. This will put a financial burden of Rs 946 crore on the government.
Explain that this bonus of the Central Government will be directly transferred to the bank account of the government employees i.e. through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). It has been clarified by the government that the bonus will be given to the employees soon.
