However, before announcing the result, Answer Key has been released on 26 September by NTA NEET. Candidates challenge on the basis of this answer key. After considering the challenges accepted by the NTA, the final answer is prepared, on the basis of which the result of the NEET is prepared after the change.
Neat result result is prepared on the basis of the marks of candidates in three sections and overall score. This RAW score is converted into percentile score, as there are many sets of question papers of NEET. In this, rules apply according to the difficulty level.
The NEET result consists of three major parts or components – the first being the percentage marks in the entrance exam, over all RAW numbers and 15 percent all India quota (AIQ) counseling. For this, first of all, all the raw marks are calculated which changes into percentile score. Then based on this percentile score, the AIQ ranking is decided.
The percentile score will be mentioned separately for each of the three sections in the NEET scorecard. Apart from this, there is also an overall percentage score. Explain that the percentile score is a score that is used to determine whether a candidate is eligible for 15 percent AIQ counseling. It has a minimum score of 50% for General / General-EWS candidates to qualify for AIQ counseling. At the same time it is 40 percent for SC / ST / OBC and 45 percentile for PWBD.

now out of 720 marks in NEET scorecard, the overall RAW score of the candidates in the exam will also be there. Raw marks are calculated by adding 4 marks for each correct answer and deducting 1 point against each wrong. Please tell that section wise RAW marks are not mentioned on the scorecard.
This is how ranking is determined
Finally, 15 percentile is the AIQ rank. This rank is given to students who achieve the required minimum percentile. Then the ranking is done on the basis of overall percentile score. If the percentile is high then it means higher rank.
If two or more candidates get the same marks, then tie-breaking is done in order of higher marks in biology. Yet if the tie persists, then higher marks in chemistry are considered for tie-breaking. If the problem is still not solved, then candidates with at least negative marks are given more space. However, if the tie is not resolved, the candidates are ranked on the basis of their age, and the old candidate is placed at a higher position.
