The upgraded version of BrahMos is co-created by DRDO of India and NPOM of Russia. Which can be launched from war ships, submarines, fighter jets and land. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also tweeted and congratulated DRDO for this successful test.
Let me tell you that BrahMos is the first supersonic cruise missile, which is currently in service. The missile was inducted by the Indian Navy on INS Rajput in 2005. Now in future all war ships will be included with the new upgrade facility.
Earlier, Indian Army has also included BrahMos missile in its three regiments, that means if the enemy does something stupid then it will be given a befitting reply. In the situation of tension with China in Ladakh for the last few months, in such a time, the introduction of new power in the hands of India can put the enemy in the can. India is constantly engaged in strengthening the army with domestic and foreign weapons.
