Earlier this exam was proposed on July 5, but let us know that this examination was postponed in view of corona infection. Now its new date will be announced soon. It is being said that these exams can be conducted in the last week of September or the first week of October.
CTET exam takes place at two levels
CBSE conducts the examination of the seat at primary level and higher primary level i.e. two levels in total. A candidate passing the primary level examination is qualified to teach classes from class 1 to class 5 while a candidate who passes the higher primary level examination is considered qualified to teach classes from class 6 to class 8. .
This is the pattern of examination
Both the seat level examinations are of 150-150 marks. In this, a total of 150 questions related to child development and pedagogy, language, mathematics and environmental studies are asked in the first level exam. At the same time, for level two, a total of 150 questions related to child development and pedagogy, language, mathematics and science or social studies are asked. There is no system of negative marking in the seat of examination.
Examination will be same as last year
Let us know that the CTET exam was conducted in two shifts last year. First shift morning and second shift evening. Two papers were conducted in this examination. First paper 1 (for those who want to become primary school teachers). Second paper 2 (who will be eligible to teach in class 6 and 7).
The exam was conducted in offline mode. In which the candidates had to solve 150 questions in 150 minutes. Must pass at least 90 marks to pass. Let us tell you, for general category, candidates need 60% to pass this exam. At the same time, OBC / SC / ST candidates require 55%. That is, you have to bring at least 82 marks. After qualifying the CTET exam, this certificate will be valid for 7 years.
