Apart from India and Russia, China is also a member in this organization. Rajnath Singh will return to India on September 5 after attending the meeting on September 4. The Defense Minister will return to Delhi from Moscow on the evening of September 5. Maneuvers between India and Russia

India and Russia are poised to meet current security challenges. Navies of both countries will conduct ‘Indra maneuvers’ on September 4 and 5 in the Bay of Bengal. Official sources said that the exercise between India and Russia’s navy is going to take place at a time when tensions between India and China are at their peak over the border dispute. The Indian Navy has also started making its presence in the Indian Ocean in view of the increase in Chinese naval movements during this maneuver along with surface and air targets. Indra maneuvers have been taking place between the Indian and Russian armies since 2005. Last July, the Indian Navy also fiercely maneuvered with the US Navy.
