Guidelines for OTT Platform / Digital Media

Issuing guidelines for digital media, Prakash Javadekar stated that electronic media has to follow the rules, but OTT and digital platforms do not have rules. We had talked about OTT platform self regulation, but that could not be done.

Prakash Javadekar said that OTT platform / digital media will have to give information about their work, how they prepare their content. After this, everyone will have to implement the self-regulation, for this a body will be formed which will be headed by a retired judge of the Supreme Court or some other person.
