Paytm has said in a statement that the company is now removing the cashback component under Google’s policy request. Although the company has said that this is temporary.

It is worth noting that Dream11IPL2020 is starting tomorrow i.e. 19th September. In such a situation, the race of Fantasy League based app connected with cricket has been accelerated. Since Dream11 is not on the Play Store and the reason is also Google’s policy.

In such a situation, a self-regulatory body created for fantasy league based sports gaming had asked Google to remove this app Paytm app.

FIFS asked Google to remove such apps. FIFS thanked Google after Paytm was removed from the Play Store.

This regulatory body believes that when such apps are legal in India, then why does the Google Play Store ban a selected app from its platform, while keeping some apps.
