SCO Summit 2020: Rajnath targets China says aggression is not good for regional peace. At the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting in Moscow, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh (Defense Minister Rajnath Singh) in his address targeted China and Pakistan without naming them. The Defense Minister said that India condemns all forms of terrorism and its supporters. India’s emphasis on development of global security infrastructure
Singh said that non-aggression is needed for a peaceful, stable and secure area of SCO member countries, where more than 40 percent of the world’s population lives. The United Nations provides the basis for a peaceful world where international laws and the sovereignty of countries are respected and countries avoid invading other countries unilaterally. The Defense Minister said that I reiterate today that India is committed to the development of a global security framework that will be open, transparent, inclusive, rule-based and within the ambit of international laws.
Security issue is a big concern in Afghanistan
Defense Minister Singh said that the issue of security in Afghanistan remains a matter of great concern. India is also very concerned about the current situation in the Arabian Gulf. We call upon the countries of the Gulf region to resolve differences through dialogue on the basis of mutual respect and sovereignty. In the meeting, Rajnath Singh also warned about the fate of war. He said that the second world reminds one of the attacks and horrific destruction on one country by the armies of one country.
