Australian batsman Chris Lynn arrived in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday to join the Mumbai Indians team for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Due to increasing cases of covid-19 in India, this T20 league is being organized in UAE. The IPL will begin on September 19 and the tournament will run till November 10.

Mumbai Indians also reported that Australian fast bowler James Pattinson also joined the team last week, replacing Kiwi fast bowler Trent Boult and veteran Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga.
