These two cost the same and both are MediaTek Helio G35 processor based phones. Let’s know what is the difference between the two.
Realme C12 smartphone launched on 14th August 2020. The phone comes with a 6.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Realme C12 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM. The Realme C12 runs Android 10 and is power by a 6000mAh non-removable battery.
Xiaomi has finally launched the Redmi 9 in India. The device is price at Rs 8,999 for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant and at Rs 9,999 for the 4GB RAM/128GB storage variant. It will available starting August 31 via Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home Stores and partner offline stores. It will be made available in three colour options: Sky Blue, Sporty Orange and Carbon Black. The device will go up against the Realme C12 and C15 in India.

The price of 4GB / 64GB variants of Xiaomi Redmi 9 has kept at Rs. 8,999 and 4GB / 128GB variants have priced at Rs. 9,999. This device has launched in three color options – Sky Blue, Sporty Orange and Carbon Black. Its sale will start from August 31. Customers will be able to buy it from Amazon.
Redmi 9 has a 6.53-inch LCD display with 720p resolution and Realme C12 has a 6.5-inch display with 720p resolution.
Both smartphones get 13MP primary camera and 2MP depth-sensing camera in the rear. However, an additional 2MP black-and-white sensor is also provided in the C12. For selfies, both smartphones have a 5MP camera on the front.
Realme C12 is better than Redmi 9 in terms of battery. Both get 6,000mAh and 5,000mAh batteries respectively. Along with this, 10W charging is also supported.
