Now a notice is visible on TikTok Open. Tick talk has stopped working in the iPhone until the news was written and new videos are not loading. The home page has been blanked. However, android smartphones are still working. 

“We are following the government of India’s blocking of 59 apps,” reads the notice showing as soon as TikTok is open. Ensuring privacy and security of all users is our first priority.

However, apps like Cam Scanner, Share It and UC are still working in addition to Tick Talk. Some of these apps are available to download.

It is noteworthy that the Indian government has asked telecom service providers and internet service providers to block these 59 Chinese apps. If this applies, like Tick Talk, all 59 apps will also stop working on smartphones. 

At the moment, it is not clear what will happen to users who already have videos or have been downloaded on Tick Talk.
