YouTube released 5 new features for Android and iOS users

Video Chapter:

In May, this feature was first introduced by YouTube for desktop users. Now it has also been introduced for smartphone users. With the help of this feature, users can skip any specific section of the video. From now on users will be able to see a list of all the chapters in the video. Also, there will be a preview thumbnail here, so that it will know what is in which chapter.

New position for 2 icons:

YouTube has said that to make captions even easier, the company has moved this button to a much better location. It has been given a place in the video player directly in the phone. Similarly, the company has also moved the autoplay toggle, so that it is even easier to turn on and off while watching it.

Gesture Support:

The YouTube app will now come with the option to enter or exit in full screen mode. By swiping up, users will enter in full screen mode, then exit to swipe down.

Sjested Actions:

This feature will allow users to rotate the phone or play videos in VR. However, the app will do this when it feels that by doing this the user will get a better experience. The company has said that more sagged actions will be introduced in the future.

Bedtime reminders:

With the help of this feature, users will be able to set reminders for a certain time. Then it will alert you at that time that you stop watching videos, it is your bedtime. This will help you manage your time in YouTube.
